Promiseland Shih Tzu Dedicated To Advancing The Shih Tzu Breed

Promiseland Shih Tzu, a family owned and run conformation show home, focuses on three important aspects of puppy rearing. First and foremost, Promiseland Shih Tzu takes its stewardship of the breed very seriously, wanting to help advance the breed itself and create a distinctive style all its own. Next, all Shih Tzu  under our care are carefully bred to be superb champion Shih Tzu show dogs as reflected in our multiple American Kennel Club champions. Finally, if a puppy is not suited for show life, they are selectively placed as pets in loving homes.

Prized Shih Tzu Show Dogs

Seven Promiseland Shih Tzu show dogs have acheived American Kennel Club Conformation Championships with more in the ring currently.  Promiseland Shih Tzu show dogs have also received honors such as Best In Show Bred-by, Best In Show Amateur Owner Handler, Best In Show Puppy, and Best of Breed In Specialty show.  We have also received an invitation to attend the Eukanuba show. The puppies are carefully bred and meticulously groomed and shown in order to showcase this prestigious and aristocratic breed’s finest qualities.

Shih Tzu As Pets

Not every puppy grows into a dog that will excel in the show ring. Just like people, they all have their own personalities and conformation. In these cases, Promiseland Shih Tzu seeks to selectively place puppies as pets with loving, responsible families who can offer a high level of care. Shih Tzu  will return the love they are given ten-fold, bringing a warmth and energy to any home. Advancing The Breed

Promiseland Shih Tzu takes pride in our efforts to advance the Shih Tzu breed. The health and well being of each puppy, as well as the overall breed, is of the utmost importance to us.  A  selective breeding program is used to invigorate the breed while developing a unique style and progressive evolution of its features. The crowning achievement for any breeder is to imprint their own style and leave a lasting legacy.
